Lloyd Bore

The Challenge

We were contacted by landscape architects and arborists Lloyd Bore, who were kindly referred to us by local web design studio Dan Patching Creative Design, who developed their website.

Having been established for over 20 years, they relied solely on local business and word of mouth to gain new client work. However, with their expansion into London and a willingness to widen their offering, they knew they needed to up their game and explore digital marketing to increase exposure.

They approached us with a fairly simple brief – get found on Google for the right keywords to a wider catchment area across Kent and into London for landscape architectural services, coupled with ecology and arboricultural expertise.

The Strategy

With practically zero internet marketing history, we were starting with a clean slate – just how we like it!

We firstly set about the task of thoroughly auditing their site content and structure using an SEO spider tool and put forward a comprehensive set of directives to their web developers to implement on the site.

Once in place, we then started to track the net effect of our changes on search results and then set about the next phase of building great on-site and off-site content, link prospecting, outreach and high authority link building.

We also took the reins and helped out with social media exposure as well as press releases, local citations and guest blogging.

The Result

It was soon evident even after the initial on-site optimisation phase that our work was having the desired effect. Within weeks, the Lloyd Bore website started to appear for a wide range of searches that they never ranked for previously.

After several weeks of building high equity links, many keywords reached the promised land of page one on Google and are still there today.

Since our work started, we have increased their traffic by 86% and ranked more than 20 niche specific keywords that have contributed to a notable rise in search queries, site visits and sales leads.
