Worthingtons Solicitors

The Challenge

As a long established firm of solicitors based in Folkestone, Kent for over 100 years, Worthingtons approached us requesting help to ensure they maintained their status as one of the areas top law firms offering legal services including civil litigation, divorce proceedings, conveyancing, personal injury, wills and probate and more.

With a notable increase in competing law firms emerging in the area, they were very aware that their market share was dwindling and needed us to ensure they remained top of organic searches for all the common search queries relating to their services.

They were happy for us to lead the way and put forward our strategies that would build on their existing reputation, and increase their organic visibility on the major search engines, most notably Google.

The Strategy

It was clear that the existing website Worthingtons had for several years was simply unfit for purpose. Outdated, flat and unimaginative, it was clear from the outset that any off-site marketing activities would be fruitless as their website simply wasn’t up to par anymore.

We quickly set out on designing and developing a new site that worked across multiple devices including desktop and mobiles, and would present their range of legal services in the best way possible.

By developing a fully-responsive WordPress theme, this would enable us to tailor the content precisely as required and optimise the site pages to the max to gain the best organic search results possible.

The Result

Coupled with an ongoing link and content building strategy, their ranks quickly started to show massive improvements on Google searches, resulting in top spot ranks and local pack prominence.

Still ongoing today, Worthingtons keyword ranks hold a large share of local and regional searches queries, resulting in a steady flow of new business leads and transactional business.

With the new website, they are attracting business from a wide range of clientele, of numerous demographics and legal requirements.
